Temazcal at Yura

Ancestral Sweat Lodge Ceremonies

A sacred ritual of purification, prayer, and rebirth, rooted in ancestral traditions and held in deep respect for the body, the Earth, and the spirits.

Temazcal is an ancestral Mesoamerican sweat lodge ceremony, traditionally guided with prayer, fire, steam, songs, and intention.

Entering the temazcal is symbolically entering the womb of Mother Earth — a space for cleansing, renewal, release, and remembrance.

At Yura, each temazcal is held with care, integrity, and respect for traditional protocols, honoring both lineage and the present moment.

Weekly Community Temazcal

Our community temazcal takes place regularly, offering a consistent space for grounding, purification, and collective prayer

Every Sunday 5pm.
